摘要

本文探讨新加坡与中国中小学语文课本的语文特质，并采用新近开拓的华文二语可读性公式检验各年级课文的可读性。初始，新加坡华文水平低于中国水平两年，以后逐渐扩大，而在中学阶段出现缺乏规律的差异。语文特质和课文可读性会影响学生的学习动机与成绩，值得以华文为第二语文地区的学者专家的关注。本文报告的研究方法为可行途径之一。
